In what is one of the largest surveys of the 3D printing industry, over 80,000 votes were collected this year. To our third-annual event, located in Nuffield Hall in central London, we were pleased to welcome guests from Protolabs, AM Ventures, RPS, Voxeljet and more, including, for the first time, a royal family member, His Highness Azzan Kais Tarik Al-Said of Oman. Representing the best hardware of the year, most innovative applications, and many well respected names in the 3D printing industry, this year’s annual event saw the attendance of more than 150 guests, representing over 60 companies in both desktop and industrial additive manufacturing – 32% more than last year. It was an epic night for Khalid as well as he won Favourite Male Artist - Pop/Rock, Favourite Album - Soul/R&B for Free Spirit and Favourite Song - Soul/R&B for Talk. Billie won New Artist of the Year and Favourite Artist - Alternative Rock. Popular K-pop group BTS also dominated the AMAs 2019 as they took home the awards for Favourite Duo or Group - Pop/Rock, Tour of the Year and Favourite Social Artist. The Lover singer, who was initially tied with Michael Jackson for the most wins has now broken the record thanks to her 2019 wins. When it came to the winners, it was T-Swift who reigned supreme with five AMAs awards to her name including Artist of the Year & Decade.
In attendance were Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes, amongst others and also performed much to the excitement of the audience present for the festivities. Los Angeles was lit up with 2018's leading musicians as the Microsoft Theatre hosted the American Music Awards 2019.
